As DVI’s Director of Network & Systems Architecture, Mr. Koltun has technical responsibility for many of DVI’s projects, including aspects of: strategic planning, network and system design, and network implementation management. Mr. Koltun is a Senior level network architect and experienced technical project manager. He has designed and deployed large-scale Networks for over thirty –five (35) years supporting multiple missions –critical applications including Financial services, security and telemetry. Mr. Koltun possesses an extensive background in real-time video surveillance applications using IP including new builds, migration from legacy analog infrastructure and hybrid analog / IP infrastructure Mr. Koltun has extensive experience with multi-tier and multi-vendor network architecture, process reengineering, network and systems contingency planning, data center design, information security, on-line transaction processing, messaging middleware, object-oriented design, and distributed database technology. He is also fully versed and experienced with multi-layer networks entailing multiple tiers of network switches and routers. A recognized expert in Network Design and Architecture, Mr. Koltun has also taught various courses at both Columbia University and Touro College.
